In a significant step towards fostering international collaboration on sustainable energy solutions, SustyVibes had the distinguished honour of hosting Ms. Baerbel Hoehn, the Special Representative for Decentralised Energy Supply from the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). Ms. Hoehn’s visit, held in Lagos, was marked by engaging discussions with community-based organisations and women’s groups, focusing on critical issues such as energy transition, technological innovation, and gender advocacy.
The primary objective of this meeting was to provide Ms. Hoehn with an in-depth understanding of the impactful projects and initiatives driven by SustyVibes. The session commenced with a comprehensive presentation delivered by Sonia Ugwunna, Head of Projects, and Tunde Lukman Anifowose, Partnership and Projects Director. They showcased key women and energy-related projects, including the EAB Street Dreams Project and the youth-led National Open Dialogue on Energy Transition, illustrating SustyVibes’ commitment to creating sustainable and inclusive communities.
