In the Spirit of #StareDownOnPollution, Fabe International will be hosting a clean-up event at the University of Lagos on the 30th of September, 2016. The event which directly supports the SDGs 14(Life below water) and 15(Life on Land) would bring both students and general public to clean up the Lagoon front.
Worthy of note is the fact that the level of pollution in our oceans have increased over the years and endangered many marine animals, this is a very big environmental and health issue! Imagine eating fried fish one day and there are some chips of plastic in the fish’s belly? As nasty as that sounds, this is the reality and the cycle of some of the waste we keep littering all about! Oh! and by the way, some of the endangered species in Lagos include Sea Turtles!
So join the Fabe crew this Friday, as they clean the Unilag Lagoon Front! There would be lots of sustainable professionals there so it would be a good opportunity to network.
We hope to see you there!
