The 2018 Abuja Susty Party was absolutely brilliant. It held on the June at the Pavillion of the prestigious Yaradua Conference Centre. We got to meet so many new and interesting people, played sustainability-themed games, listened to amazing spoken word poetry by Ayoola Emmanuel, John Peter and Deji Ige. The highlight of the night was the screening of the short documentary ‘Swallow’.
The documentary was produced by the Shehu Musa Yaradua Foundation and explored what the Nigerian agriculture sector is at the moment and what will most likely to happen to our food system in the future if we do not address climate change issues in the country.
In all the night was truly fun, impactful and full of laughs and let’s not forget small chops! We can’t wait for the next Susty Party, and we hope to see you all there.
Below is a gallery of pictures from our party.
Big thanks to all our partners: Shehu Yaradua Foundation, Youth Hub Africa, So Yummy Popcorn, Glammer Events and also to all Abuja SustyVibers!
