Last weekend, SME100, a leading Nigerian youth-driven entrepreneurship and capacity building centre rewarded 25 young Nigerian Entrepreneurs under the age of 25 at a Ceremony in Lagos. The award derives from a selection process in which organizations from different sectors, set up by young entrepreneurs under the age of 25 recorded impressive growth within two years of establishment.
Founder, Jennifer Uchendu was among the nominees for the Energy and Sustainability category and she brought the award home to us.
According to the Executive Director of SME100, Charles Odii, the awards recognize, celebrate and encourage some of Nigeria’s most innovative entrepreneurs under the age of 25.
It is very interesting to note that the selection of finalists was down to 100 from 3,500 nominees for the different categories of the award.
Big thanks to all who voted for Jennifer within the very short notice, we are very proud of our work and the recognition!
