The Standing Committee on Environment and Population Activities under Nigerian Medical Students’ Association (SCOEPA-NiMSA) is a group composed of Nigerian medical students who are passionate about the environment and concerned about the effects of human activities on environmental sustainability. SCOEPA is located in all medical schools in Nigeria, the head office can be found at The College of Medicine, University of Lagos.
In a recent press release, SCOEPA announced their main event of the year ‘NO ENVIRONMENT WITHOUT ME’, which is to be held on the 23rd of September in Idi-Araba, Lagos State. This event is an environmental awareness and community education outreach program, established to educate people on the concept of communal well-being and the usefulness of efficient and proper waste disposal.
