Telling a story through images is an essential way to involve audiences on a global question as climate change. Movies have the power to alter minds and actions, and they are a valuable tool to encourage climate change awareness and movements among different spectators. Because at SustyVibes, we are making sustainability issues easy to understand, the Film4Climate competition by Connect4Climate has been one that we have followed and been inspired to see innovative ways young people tell climate change stories. Specifically on the much-talked about Carbon Pricing – Do you think it is an effective solution to solve climate change?
Our partners, Connect4Climate, a world bank initiative to climate change will discuss carbon pricing and other climate solutions during a Facebook live Q&A with Kaia Rose and Eric Mann, filmmakers of “Climate Countdown: Carbon Pricing”, the Film4Climate Global Video Competition’s short-film winner of the Put A Price On Carbon Pollution Award.
The questions will be discussed this May 11th, 11 AM, on a live conversation with these young film directors. We are so glad to be a part!
