UN Environment Programme is looking for lawyers employed in governments of developing countries that are involved in environmental law, natural resources law or associated fields of law to apply for the Global Environment & Sustainability Law Fellows Program, offered by UN Environment Programme and the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington D.C.
Benefits:
- The fellowship will cover the full cost of tuition, travel, and provide a stipend for living expenses.
- Successful fellows will receive a Master of Laws (LL.M) Degree in Environmental Law from the Georgetown University Law Center. Upon graduation, fellows will gain international environmental legal and policy experience working with UN Environment Programme for up to three months.
The application deadline has been extended to 9 February, 2018!
We will accept unofficial transcripts if the applicants final transcripts are not available by the deadline.

The fellows must commit to return to their home country to continue working in public sector environmental law and policy for not less than three years.
