On Saturday, volunteers from around the globe gathered for World Cleanup Day, to take dirt off the roads and beaches and parks in their corners of the world. The event, started by waste collection movement Let’s Do It! World, called on people to “come together to rid our planet of trash — cleaning up litter and mismanaged waste from our beaches, rivers, forests, and streets.”
Reports note that volunteers from over 70 countries participated in this event; among the wonderful Susty volunteers from around the country who dedicated their Saturday morning to cleaning and preaching the waste management gospel. See pictures below!
