SustyVibes is happy to announce the appointment of Dr Ifeanyi Chukwuma as our new Chief Operating Officer. This appointment will be effective as from June 1st, 2022.
Dr Chukwuma has worked closely with SustyVibes in the last four years, providing support on our funding strategy as well as our work on mental health and climate change. She has more than six years experience in research, training and administration. She has worked with NGOs, Think Tank groups, ICT firms, HR firms and Academic institutions. Dr Chukwuma is passionate about sustainability, youth development and mental health advocacy. She holds a PhD in Criminology and Penology, MA in Criminology and Criminal Justice in addition to her BSc in Sociology. In 2019, She was selected as one of the Laureates for the 2019 Council for the Development of Social Research in Africa (CODESRIA) Democratic Institute. Speaking about her appointment to SustyVibes she said: “Doing enough is never enough. In the injustice and disparity of our world today, we must strive to be better people and in doing so, create a sustainable and better society. I look forward to working with the entire SustyVibes community and together we can build a sustainable future especially in Nigeria and Africa at large.”

As our COO, Dr Ifeanyi will oversee all our operations and work closely with our founder and executive trustee, leadership team and the sustyviber community to deliver on our vision of building a platform for young people to believe in their abilities to transform our world.
