Amplifying Youth Voices: Contribute to Our Youth Dialogue on Climate Change and Mental Health

For too long, the profound intersection of climate change and mental health has been examined through a limited lens, often missing the vital youth perspective. To that regard, in September SustyVibes in collaboration with the Lived Experience Working Group in the Connecting Climate Minds project, hosted a remarkable and enlightening virtual global youth Harmony Horizon dialogue. The event brought together young voices from every corner of the globe to discuss the profound impacts of climate change on our mental health. It was a powerful testament to the strength and resilience of young people everywhere, as they engaged in deep conversations that truly matter.

However, we understand that not all young people had the opportunity to participate fully in this dialogue, so we are excited to extend an invitation to you, an integral part of our global community, to contribute your invaluable insights to our dialogue. This endeavour is driven by the belief that as young people our voices matter and our experiences are essential in shaping the conversations around climate change and mental health. We also want to ensure that our dialogue is genuinely inclusive and represents the voices of youth from every background and region, we have created a unique opportunity for your contribution.

A Contribution Form has been designed explicitly for young people who couldn’t participate in the virtual dialogue. This form allows you to share your thoughts, experiences, and insights related to climate change and its impact on mental health. By filling out this form, you become an essential part of this global effort to better understand and address the challenges we face.

We believe that your perspectives are invaluable. Your experiences, thoughts, and concerns provide a unique lens through which we can examine the critical connection between climate change and mental health. We believe that solutions and progress emerge from diversity, and your contribution will help us achieve the objectives of the Connecting Climate Minds Project.

As we navigate these uncertain times, let’s seize this opportunity to make our voices heard and unite in our commitment to addressing the profound impact of climate change on mental health. Together, we can pave the way for meaningful change and create a more resilient, empathetic, and sustainable world.

Thank you for being an essential part of this global endeavour. Your voice matters, and your perspective is a powerful force for positive change.
