Climate Walk & Street Conference to Commemorate World Environment Day in Port Harcourt

Ahead of World Envioronment Day, SustyVibers in Port Harcourt headed to the streets on June 4 to commemorate this day.

The activities include evacuation of organic waste that was collected in bin bags and neatly packaged, while plastic and nylon waste were collected in bin bags for collection by cleaners of the Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA). We were unable to secure partnership with Fifthseed Recycling to evacuate the recyclables.

30 volunteers attended the event and there was a networking opportunity, ending the day with group photographs.
