The hangout scheduled for 4pm at Citadel and Towers Garden, Airport Road, Abuja began some minutes past 4pm with both new and old Sustyvibers socializing and networking through playing games and feasting championed by Mimi Ituah and Oscar Echesirim, while others joined in. The hangout commenced in earnest at 4:45pm with our very own Diwan Jirai and Nonso Idegwu anchoring the introduction session. Both old and new Sustyvibers and visitors amongst us introduced themselves amidst the feasting.
At the end of the introduction session, our Community Manager, Chikodi Uzoamaka took the floor by indulging members present and asked them about their general knowledge about Sustyvibes and the various ongoing projects including The Eco-anxiety in Africa Project (TEAP). Responses were received and she further built on the responses as she spoke about what Sustyvibes is about, and as well discussed TEAP and other projects currently embarked upon by Sustyvibes. Further to the foregoing, she reminded the team about dues, Whatsapp Rules of engagements in the community, monthly training and the need for Volunteers- old and new to be active in the sub-teams they belong to. Questions were asked and the Sustyvibes Leaders answered appropriately.
After a well delivered session by Chikodi, the next session was anchored by our ever amiable and smiling Northern Regional Manager, Aniebet Obot who was supported by Folmi Yohanna, Oscar and Maria Mark to give a brief about how far we have gone with plans for our upcoming SusTEAParty which is scheduled to hold on the 25th of June, 2022. The team anchored assigning roles to Sustyvibers with regards the upcoming event. Both new and old Sustyvibers were happy and open to take up various roles.
Following that were games and photography to wrap up the hangout around 6:46pm.
